You will be shown a step by step process so please come along as all abilities are welcome, particulary suited to beginners. All materials will be supplied. This course needs a minimum of 10 people to go ahead. It will be taking place in the lovely Kingfisher café in Fishponds, where you have the option of buying a drink and a cake.
The first session will be to practise with using watercolour paints and pencils. Learning different techniques such as a wash, flooding, stippling and detailing. Looking at tonal shading and gradient of paint to get effective harmonising of colours and contrast.
The second will be using your new skills to create an observational painting of a flower.
The third will be to start planning your final landscape piece, complete a background wash and background detailing.
The final session will be applying detail to the mid-ground and fore-ground.
