What do you do if you don't vaccinate? (and even more so if you do).

Nursing Children Supportively through Acute Illness - Fever Management

Dr. Jayne LM Donegan MBBS DRCOG DCH DFFP MRCGP MFHom

14.45 for a 3pm start - 5pm.

As a parent, making your sick child feel better is your first instinct. However, what to do in this situation is becoming a lost art. Most of us are not trained in medical care, have limited knowledge, and are reliant upon the doctor for every ailment. This has made child illness a worrying experience.

If you would like to end the confusion which arises over conflicting advice given on child health, stop the fear which comes when dealing with a really poorly child, and have effective drug free alternatives to hand, then this lecture by Dr. Jayne Donegan, GP, and Homeopath with extensive experience in child health, will give you sound safe strategies to cope at this time and will outline simple home procedures you can use.

If you are a parent concerned that multiple vaccinations and the widespread and repeated use of Calpol and antibiotics may not be the best route to health then this lecture is for you.

 FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

We welcome parents, carers and anyone with an interest in natural health and natural immunity. We want this event to be accessible and so babes in arms are welcome too.  Our experience is that once your little one is a bit older and on the move, it can be difficult to concentrate and distracting. You know your child best and so we leave this decision to your discretion but just ask you to consider others.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Brighthelm Centre is close to the city centre and is just a few minutes walk from Brighton Train Station. It is well served by many buses and is next to a no 7 bus stop. Limited parking is available at the centre on a pre-booked and pre-paid basis. After 5 pm weekdays and at weekends parking remains free for centre users on a first come first served basis. Please do not depend on this, there are plenty of car parks nearby.  Be warned though, parking in Brighton can be expensive!

What can I bring to the event?

Refreshments are not available so if you wish you can bring bottles of water into the event. Please do not bring food.

What's the refund policy?

If you cancel up to 14 days before the event you can claim a full refund. Up to a week before the event, you can claim 50%.  We regret that we cannot offer a refund if you cancel within 7 days of the event. If you need to cancel your booking please email carmel.conway@sky.com

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
