Therapeutic Parenting Conference - Brighton
A one day conference for adoptive and foster parents and those who support them.
Chaired by Louise Michelle Bombѐr - Strategic Attachment Lead Teacher, Therapist and Author with Guest Speakers - Sarah Naish & Sarah Dillon.
Sarah is an adoptive parent of 5 siblings, a former Social Worker and a former owner of an outstanding therapeutic fostering agency. She is the founder of The National Association of Therapeutic Parents. Sarah is an expert in the field of compassion fatigue and therapeutic parenting. She is well known for writing succinct, practical, often humorous and jargon-free books to help foster parents, adopters and any parent caring for a child who has experienced trauma and loss.
Sarah is an Attachment Therapist and a former fostered child. She is the Therapeutic Lead for the National Association of Therapeutic Parents and Therapeutic Parenting consultant for numerous independent fostering agencies and local authorities. Sarah has great insight into the internal world of traumatised children and shares this perspective with others to help to develop empathy and understanding around the behaviours that can result from trauma.
