This is a really exciting seminar happening in Bath in the New Year.
We all enjoy our running and dedicate quite a number of hours to the sport in an attempt to become a better and fitter runner. Here is a workshop that could transform your running. It may be the tweek you need to help break a PB or understand why you keep developing injuries.
Shane Benzie is a running technique coach, movement specialist and researcher. His work has taken him to six continents and a number of extreme environments in his search for natural movement and its influence on our running form.
He spends much of his research time in Ethiopia, Morocco, Uganda and Kenya working with elite athletes and coaches of all levels. He works with runners of all abilities form complete beginners to G.B athletes and those returning from injury.
The "movement in running" workshops are designed to be fun and interactive where attendees receive practical and technical information on running form and how our everyday life effects our dynamic movement. All attendees will get the chance do have video analysis of their running form before, during and at the end of the workshop.
* Video analysis of current running form. (Foot contact, cadence, Posture)
* Dynamic posture and how our everyday posture affects it.
* Your fascial system and its influence on your movement.
* Impact on the body and how to manage it.

* Video analysis of new running form.
The workshop will be held at Odd Down playing fields. We will base ourselves in one of the conference rooms. Video analysis will be done outside so come prepared to run, whatever the weather. There is café on site serving drinks and food which you can purchase during the breaks and lunch.
