Could you run blindfolded for blind children?

Date: Sunday 5 November 2017
Distance: 5 or 10k
Location: Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Registration fee: Early-bird offer ends 18/08/2017. Tickets £12 therafter
Fundraising target: £100

Run blindfolded with a partner of your choosing. They will help guide you around the course. Your partner doesn’t have to sign-up now, so don’t worry if you don’t have one yet as they can register later, or if you prefer, we can help you find someone to run with.

It’s up to you whether you complete the entire distance blindfolded or decide to swap half way so you can both have a go.

Just imagine the thrill of reaching the finish line knowing you’ve completed the course blindfolded!

JUST EIGHT DAYS AWAY NOW... Would this be of interest to any of your friends and families? COME ALONG WITH YOUR BLINDFOLD AND RUN WITH ONE OF OUR GUIDE RUNNERS. If so, please contact myself or Dawn Annett for further details. Diary Date - Sunday 10th September 2017 - Inspiration Day Venue - Erith Leisure Centre Time: 1.30pm to 5.30pm Cost: FREE An opportunity to help us provide inclusivity in our group, by having a 'Taster Day' to break down the barriers of visual and hearing impairments, mental health issues and disabilities for those runners and would-be runners who may not be able to access or participate in group or club sessions. We have two special GB Paralympian guests in attendance; we very fortunate to have Libby Clegg (T11/T12 100m and 200m sprinter) and Ryan Raghoo (T36 long-jumper). Libby runs with severe visual impairment and Ryan has Cerebral Palsy, and both are now successful GB Paralympians. It will be a great opportunity to breakdown barriers with our friendly and welcoming community running spirit. Thanks, Brian Page
