Rewilding Yoga Workshop
Rewilding is ‘restoring something to its natural, uncultivated state. It’s a return to our original nature.’
Rewilding looks different for each of us. It’s about finding what opens your heart and relaxes your body, so you’re unabashedly you.
When we rewild ourselves, we strip away layers of behaviour, persona, tension and coping.
You’re invited to this series of three workshops emphasise relaxation and release.
A major aspect of rewilding is letting go of unnecessary ‘push’ and tension. We’ve been conditioned to add a lot of tension to what we’re doing. ‘Doing’ in itself implies effort. These workshops are suitable for everyone who wants to experience a sense of belonging and safety and do wonders for your nervous system.
Workshops are Sunday 10th Feb, Sunday 5th May, Sunday 6th October. 6-8pm @ Evolution Arts Studio, 2 Sillwood Terrace, BN1 2LR.
Visit my website or message me to book.
Why attend a workshop?
Workshops are an opportunity to take an extended period of time out to practice, they're like a mini retreat. This special series of workshops has been arranged to make 2019 a year of inspiration and to encourage you to reclaim your Sunday evening.
You'll experience Asana (postures) Pranayama (breathing techniques) and guided Meditations as well as my usual story telling and get to sample journaling.
These workshops are perfect for those who find it tricky to attend weekly classes, or Yogis looking for more time on the mat, to luxuriate in slow flow. Each session is standalone, so you can book them individually, however I invite you to join me for the series; as part of Yoga we cultivate pratibaddhata which means 'commitment.' You commit to yourself, that at least three times you'll finish your weekend well, ready to start the week ahead feeling calm and centred. You make a commitment to me and in turn I commit to you. Commitment is connection.
What's the Investment?
Workshops are £25 each/ £70 for all three if you're a Do Your OM Thing Member, regular class attendees and students who have attended retreats. Or £30 each/ £80 for all three if you haven’t yet attended a class, workshop or retreat.
