Polevaulter will be making their return to Teesside this February 21st at Westgarth Social Club after making their debut there last year. These guys are a real delight to behold, a noise rock outfit that echo the music of Shellac, The Jesus Lizard etc. while being able to hold their own with a unique mix of ambient, droney vocals, rock-solid drum beats, effects driven guitar riffs and chugging bass lines. One of the best bands we have seen of recent times, this is one not to be missed if you're into your noise rock stuff. Weld will be supporting, with another act yet to be announced. More details to follow soon including a poster, so keep your eyes peeled.
To check out their music, including their recently released single, "How I learnt to Stop Chewing the Wasp and Face the Bulldog", check out the link(s) below!
Now added: Sleaze Queens. Formerly Fleckt Pets!
£4 on the door. Cheers
