The variety of plant form: an introduction to plant morphology

We will explore the diversity of ways leaves and stems have evolved to meet plants’ needs. - what we see with the naked eye - will reveal the plants aren’t green wallpaper, there is an astonishing number of ways in which plants are modified by evolution.

10am a lecture (based on a real undergraduate lecture, and suitable for post-16 biologists); 10:45-12:30 the practical class in the Harris Garden that complements the lecture.
