King’s College Hospital runs one of the largest Diabetic Foot Units in the UK. The unit provides tertiary referral service for limb saving complex diabetic foot deformity surgical corrections. It has contributed to the world of literature in this area and continues to develop national standards as a NICE Stakeholder. King’s College Hospital Diabetic Foot Unit has a strong track record in organising international meetings in diabetic foot management, since 1992, covering the most up to date advances in the management of this challenging condition. This year’s symposium is going to be unique as the pioneers at the Yale University, USA, will join the King’s team to make this event the most comprehensive and contemporary.
