Bracknell Flower Club meets on the 2nd Wednesday each month for demonstrations and on the 4th Wednesday for practical sessions in flower arranging. Bracknell Flower Club celebrated its 45th (Saphire) birthday in August 2015 and won a Silver-gilt medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May 2015 with the arrangement "Mirror Images" and a Bronze medal in May 2016 with the arrangement "Gardener's Delight". The Club is affiliated to the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies (NAFAS). We are a friendly club offering a monthly meeting on the second Wednesday of the month (except for January and August) at the Priestwood Community Centre 7.30pm-9.30pm We have demonstrations, talks and workshops, plus competitions, a sales table and a raffle of demonstrated items. The monthly competitions are open to members and open staging is 2'x2'. Additionally on the fourth Wednesday of the month we hold teaching sessions for all abilities (novice, intermediate and advanced) for anyone who would like to learn the art of flower arranging. You are welcome to join the classes at any stage throughout the year. Junior Members are very welcome, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Class fees are nominal and outside the standard club subscriptions. Club Membership fees are £35 for the year and £5 for individual visits. Flower arranging classes are £48 per year and £8 for individual classes.
