Composer, sound artist and musician based in East Lothian, Scotland. Michael Begg’s music is located in the place where formal composition and electronic erosion meet; a liminal space coloured by longing and discomfort.
Michael is currently the Associate Artist in Residence at the Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh, where he curates the LIMINAL programme (

Electronic & techno oriented project by the experimental, dark ambient and avant-garde duo Silent Chaos. As an alternative to the music of Silent Chaos, more meditative and essential, the two musicians have felt the need to grapple with new compositions more direct that give space to other openings, always experimental, to a type of electronics that can be experienced also on the dancefloor of a modern club.
