Momentum General Meeting: How to build a party that can win?
Momentum General Meeting: How to build a party that can win!
Do you want to keep Labour moving forwards despite our defeat?
Do you want to keep Labour as a party which values effort and input from ordinary members?
Are you ready to step back up and prove the relevance of people-powered politics?
The Labour party needs a leader who supports all of the above - and luckily, we have just the leadership candidate to do this. Rebecca Long-Bailey developed the best bits of the manifesto. She strongly believes in giving more power to ordinary Labour members, so that we can use our most powerful resource to fight the Tories all the way from now until the next election.
The only way to deliver victory in this leadership election is through the skills we honed under the most difficult circumstances in those final weeks of 2019. We'll be getting signed up to ring Labour members and reassure them that Rebecca is the leader that our party needs.
Of course, it's not just about the leader, and we'll also be talking about how Labour members can build our movement to win change from the ground up.
Doors open at 6pm, for food and chatter. Speakers and discussion will start from 7pm.
