With a firm grounding in Neuroscience, MindUP™ uses mindful awareness and positive psychology as a catalyst for social-emotional learning. Our program not only teaches children the science behind their brains, it also provides techniques for self-calming, inter-personal connections and empathy. Through MindUP™ our students develop the tools to manage anxiety and stress, to live in the present, and to experience the world fully. These skills lay the foundation for lifelong awareness of the self, of others, and of our world.

MindUP™, an evidence-based curriculum for ages 4 to 13 years, provides children with the tools to help them understand and improve their own emotions, moods and behaviors; reduce stress and anxiety; sharpen concentration; build confidence; increase empathy; and improve academic performance in school.

MindUP™ is currently being taught in schools across the UK, Republic of Ireland, United States, Canada, Finland, Serbia, Australia and Jordan.

The Main objectives of the day are to introduce you to the MindUP™ programme and the neuroscience behind each lesson, the daily core breathing practice "The Brain Break" and mindful awareness activities that build focus for effective learning.

MindUP™ is easily embedded into daily routines at school and promotes an optimistic class where children can succeed and thrive.

During this unique workshop, participants will:

Experience an interactive professional development workshop.

Discover the core practices and techniques of MindUP™ and how to embedded these into daily school life.

Learn how to help children recognise and manage their emotions, develop compassion, make responsible decisions and maintain positive relationships in school, at home and throughout life.

As part of this training you will receive a MindUP™ Pack, which includes a teaching guide and chime.
