This is an expression of interest in participating in the Mindfulness for Life 8-week course. On receiving your expression of interest we will send you a health questionnaire and further information about the course.

When: Monday 12.00 –2.00pm on 2nd March, 9th March, 16th March, 23rd March, 30th March, 20th April, 27th April and 4th May (with a full day of practice on 25th April)

Where: Henley Cricket Club, Matson drive, Henley on Thames, RG9 3HB

Cost: £240; includes 22 hours of teaching; printed participant handbook, downloadable mindfulness practices to use at home between sessions and after the course.

Mindfulness can provide a valuable grounding, calming practice, but there are many layers to explore. The 8-week ‘Mindfulness for Life’ course is an opportunity to practice mindfulness meditation in a supportive small group. The course also explores the psychology underpinning mindfulness-based approaches, and how this supports meaningful change in our lives.

Practising mindfulness regularly can help us cope better with the challenges of life, such as stress, low mood, anxiety, and pain.

Mindfulness also supports the growth of resilience and self-compassion, enabling us to live with greater balance and ease.

We trained to teach Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy at the world-renowned Oxford Mindfulness Centre, having experienced the benefits of the course in our own lives, and are passionate about sharing mindfulness-based ‘skills for life’ with integrity, supported by our own practice. We are both registered teachers with the UK Network of Mindfulness Teachers (now renamed as BAMBA), and adhere to their good practice guidelines (www.bamba.org.uk).
