Following a full run at Edinburgh Fringe in 2017 and a 22-date UK theatre tour in autumn 2018, Matt Abbott is taking his 'Two Little Ducks' show to intimate DIY spaces around the country in 2019. Having received a string of 5* reviews including national newspaper The New European, Matt Abbott's political spoken word show has established itself as one of the most vital pieces of work on the poetry scene.

Either side of volunteering at the Calais Jungle refugee camp, Matt saw his native city of Wakefield vote 66% Leave in the EU referendum. Why did so many working-class communities like his come out in droves for Brexit? How can we ignore a human crisis just 22 miles from our shores? And will anything ever actually change for people like Maria?

This is a powerful, personal and poetic show from one of UK poetry's rising stars. A sequence of 22 poems, it forms an intense, moving and challenging piece of theatre in an accessible, dynamic and engaging manner.
