Introduction to Fundraising - East Dunbartonshire (Kirkintilloch)
If you need to understand the basics of fundraising, the IoF Academy’s Introduction to Fundraising course is for you.
You might be contemplating moving into fundraising, starting your first fundraising role, working closely with fundraisers or taking on the responsibilities of acting as a trustee. The aim of the course is to get you up and running. You’ll be introduced to rules governing fundraising and how it has to be carried out legally and ethically. You’ll learn some of the basic terminology fundraisers use day-to-day. And you’ll discover how to build a budget and the importance of measuring the return on a given activity.
Last day to sign up is 8 October.
This event is organised in conjunction with East Dunbartonshire Voluntary action.
The subsidised rate (£20 instead of £75) is applicable for attendees from charities which have a turnover of less than 250k/annum.
