An introduction to crochet stitches to make a sampler scarf (4-weeks)
If you would like to learn to crochet, join us over four Saturdays in a small group for an introduction to the basic crochet stitches to get you started (and hooked on!) this fabulous craft.
With guidance, help and support, you will learn how to -
- Select the right hook for your yarn and project
- Make a slip knot and foundation chains
- Understand turning chains
- Learn how to work a range of basic crochet stitches
Over the four Saturday sessions, you will practice different techniques to combine stitches to make your own sampler scarf, with texture, lace, rib and shell stitches.
Skill level: Suitable for beginners.
Cost: £60 per person - includes 2 x 100g balls of Stylecraft Special Aran yarn in a range of colours and equipment use.
