Introduction: Acting for Television and Film
The focus of this workshop is to gain valuable experience performing in front of the camera. Using television and film scripts, you will create a scene, develop character and build confidence. How an actor prepares for a scene will also be explored and analysed, given you the skills to develop your own methods and styles of actor preparation.
Workshop Tutor: Michael Mortimer
Michael is an actor, scriptwriter and drama facilitator. He has a BA in Theatre and Acting. And also studied Performing Arts, scriptwriting and directing. Michael is represented by North West Actors in Manchester and is also a Comedy & Drama teacher with the Pauline Quirke Academy. With over twenty years of experience, Michael has a huge amount of knowledge and expertise and through his workshops, he aims to prepare actors for work in the Film and Television industry.
