Intervention Workshops (Manchester) - February
Welcome to our Manchester edition of the Intervention DJ Workshops!
It runs exactly the same way as the other cities! We're still committed to our aim of taking dance music back to its roots with a series of DJ workshops aimed at providing those identify as womxn, queer (all non-binary), differently abled / neurodivergent or as a person of colour with the basic skills and confidence to start their own DJ career in the currently over saturated 'white tech house boy' electronic music industry.
For anyone who takes a liking to DJing, there will be opportunities to be part of 'INTERVENTION' radio and showcase your new found skills in a club environment.
To ensure that we remain as inclusive as possible, each session will be FREE - allowing those who may not have access to equipment or a music based community the chance to express themselves through the electronic music the way it was intended!
ALL WELCOME but those who do not respect the SAFE SPACE policy will be removed.
Accessibility information: There are a set of stairs to enter this space. We're more than happy to assist you in any way and will carry are equipment or chairs you may need! If you have specific requirements please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and we will work with you and the venue to find a solution!
