Direct Mail: Building fundraising appeals, the basics - Institute of Fundraising West Midlands

Summary of presentation

Building a campaign, specifically a direct mail pack for an appeal can be quite daunting. In this presentation Abi will share knowledge, tips and tricks around how to put one together from idea to evaluation and everything in between. She will cover modelling and planning, pack content, data and segmenting, personalisation, budgets, and analysis for campaigns; sharing a variety of tips and ideas for those who have a moderate budget but also advice for those who have a budget of £0!

This presentation is best suited to those who are new to direct mail campaigns or who may be looking for some basic tips. If you are in an Individual Giving team, marketing team or a sole fundraiser doing it all; hopefully you’ll get some ideas for your own campaigns even if everything isn’t currently possible for your organisation we all know budget and time is precious!
