Steve Silk Hurley headlines the Hard Times takeover at The Prince of Wales terrace on 11th April for a rare UK appearance under the sunshine in the heart of Brixton before taking things inside to the intimate club as night fall.
Atop the venue's renowned rooftop and indoor dancefloor, one of the originator's of house music flies in from the States to soundtrack the space with Doorly, Austin Ato and many more.
A bonafide house legend, 4 x Grammy Award-nominee and house music pioneer, Steve Silk Hurley heads up the bill for a pumping set packed with Chicago classics and rare records that have gained him a wealth of respect as an artist and internationally loved selector. Steve's iconic 'Jack your Body' hit was the first house music number 1 single in the UK charts over a decade ago, managing to climb to the top with zero promotion and a home made video cut together from old black and white clips. The Chicago-born producer undoubtedly paved the way to the UK's first taste of house in the early 90s. A true pioneering house-music producer and songwriter, Steve's London appearance is highly anticipated to say the least.
Reptile Dysfunction boss Doorly joins Steve with his spirited collection of chunky house, infectious disco and everything in between. Scottish producer and DJ Austin Ato returns to London with his own take on euphoric house and disco, many of which has been released on Percolate, Phonica White and Defected to name a few.
