Family Bushcraft - fire lighting & shelter building
Family bushcraft - fun for all the family aged 7+! Have a go at some different fire lighting techniques to learn about the basic survival skill of lighting a fire then head in to the woods to make natural shelters and see if you can keep your family dry - will you survive our waterproof test?!
We’ll finish with toasted marshmallows and tales of your adventure around the campfire.
Tickets are £15 - tickets are for one child (age 7+) and one adult
Takes place at our Bridgend Bushcraft Basecamp, a ten minute drive from Laleston.

Can I get a refund if I can no longer make the event?
Bookings are non-refundable. Please make sure that you can make the event before buying a ticket.
Is my ticket transferrable?
You can't transfer it to another event but you can give your ticket to someone else.
What's the minimum age? Do parents need to pay for a place?
This event is for children aged 7+
Children must be supervised, supervising adult goes free :)
1 adult to supervise up to 3 children please
Can I / my child take part if I have a medical condition?
This will depend on your / your child's medical condition and you will know your boundaries and condition better than us. The event takes place outdoors and will involve walking on uneven ground in a woodland.
If you're unsure, we advise that you speak to your GP first before buying a ticket and please contact us if you need any more info.
Do I need to complete a parental consent form?
Yes, for children to take part we must have parental consent. A link to our consent form will be sent in your booking confirmation.
Where do events take place?
Events take place outdoors in our lovely, private woodland which is a ten minute drive from Laleston, Bridgend. Full directions are sent when you purchase your tickets.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
You will need to drive to our site, it is not accessible by public transport.
There is a small grass verge where you can park for free.
Parking space is limited, please car share where possible.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, there's no need for any printing.
