Help to shape the future of personal tutoring in your faculty by sharing your experiences and opinions in our student focus group - all Engineering students welcome!

Personal tutoring

Personal Tutoring is an important part of the student experience at The University of Sheffield and in the Engineering Department. The current provision of personal tutoring is about to change and we’d like to capture your views and experiences of personal tutoring to inform this development. This project is part of an Office for Students (OfS)-funded project in collaboration with King’s College London and the University of Portsmouth.

Project aim

The overall aim of the project is to develop an approach to improving the quality of personal tutoring for all students in the faculty, with a particular view to narrowing attainment gaps for students from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) groups and from lower socio-economic backgrounds. To find out more about the project, please see: http://www.raratutor.ac.uk/
