Join us in Aberdeen for a day dedicated to the work of all those involved in the European Prevention of Alzheimer Dementia (EPAD) in Scotland. This is the second annual Scottish event and follows on from last years highly successful programme. You will hear about various aspects of this study including the perspective from the Chief Investigator, Craig Ritchie and the work of the Scottish Participants Panel with stories of their experiences amongst other presentations. We are sure you will find this an enjoyable, informative and engaging day.

Following on from the EPAD Scottish Conference, the Scottish Imaging Network: A Platform for Scientific Excellence (SINAPSE) are delighted to be hosting this jointly organised SINAPSE/SDRC event “Neuroimaging in diseases that cause dementia” focussing on brain imaging in cognitive impairment/imaging contribution to diagnosis and the role of image analysis/artificial intelligence in aiding diagnosis, including a debate “Is ‘dementia’ still a useful diagnosis?”. We are delighted to welcome Silvia Ingala from VUmc Amsterdam and Fidel Alfaro Almagro from University of Oxford as well as a number of Scottish based researchers
