Deep Imbalances: Atopic conditions, infectious disease and herbal medicine

A presentation from

Bevin Clare M.S., R.H., CNS.

President of the American Herbalist Guild

Deep Imbalances: Atopic conditions, infectious disease and herbal medicine

Our bodies are shaped in response and reaction to the outside world. As we grow more distant from our traditional and evolutionary lifestyles, health conditions can arise from a place of deep imbalance. Explore the wild world of atopic conditions and infectious disease with a lens to how they shape our health, wellbeing and the creation of disease. We will explore the pathophysiology and etiology, ponder the inter-relationships between people, plants, and infectious organisms, and detail herbal medicine therapeutics to support our ever-changing bodies in the modern world. Recipes and formulas will be shared along with specific protocols for working with deep immune imbalances.

Learning outcomes:

•Participants will be able to explain the connections between atopic disease, infectious organisms and the environment.

•Participants will be familiar with the current research and evidence on atopic disease and herbal medicines.

•Participants will have knowledge of the therapeutics used to prevent and treat deep immune imbalances
