Up next on May 28th is Kenneth Murphy. Who is going to talk to us about language and in particular about what puts us off and what attracts us.
Kenneth is an Associate Partner at St. James's Place Wealth Management and the founder of the LGBTQ+ Professional Connections networking event. He is going to be talking to us about our language...not swearing...but how we use language day to day and what we might accidentally be saying to potential clients.

Talks run on the 2nd (and 4th due to demand) Tuesday of every month and are 10mins with 5mins for questions. The goal is for people to share something from their business or personal knowledge that can benifit other people in their businesses. It's not about directly promoting a business. Check out the talks we've had already this year below.

APR 9 Ewan Menzies is "changing how the world plans forever". His talk is titled: How to Reverse Engineer Your Business Success. Ewan will be giving us a radically different approach to business planning that utilises next-generation thinking. This approach will challenge your current thinking so that you can smash targets, create unstoppable momentum and make savings.
APR 23 EXTRA Claire Watson has had an epiphany and wants to share it with you. The power of asking for help in life and business networking is a story of how changing her approach to asking for help has improved every area of her business life. “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” - African Proverb that Al Gore likes.
MAY 14 Kathleen White "From Plot to Plate" a nutrition adviser and Synergy Worldwide Independent Distributor. Her talk is going to be fascinating on her hobby growing nutrient rich fruit and vegetables. She will be answering the questions; Why has our food lost a lot of vitamins and minerals? Is this a problem? What can we do about it?

JUN 11 Lee Live will be talking about the importance of having a business mentor. Lee was inspired by the works of Sir Walter Scott when he came to Edinburgh 21 years ago from Salford. Worked in IT. Did amateur acting/singing, public speaking, took up DJing and gave up IT. Been a professional photographer since 2014.... still DJing and reading Walter Scott.
