Two hours of yoga to help you strengthen and maintain a healthy, functional core.
This workshop will continue the conversation we started last time, aim to break down the entire circumference of our midsection (the core), and take a look at what we can do to get a little stronger and more functional in this area.
We will start with a brief discussion, then move through a 75 minute steady paced practice focused on all aspects of core, before finishing with a brief restorative cool down.
I used to absolutely dread anything to do with the core, assuming core work meant lots of sit-ups, crunches etc etc. Well not anymore! When we talk about the core in yoga, we are talking about the entire circumference of the mid-section, and the place in our body that helps us to move strongly and steadily through our practice.
Now this is my favourite part of the body to focus in on, and I am passionate about helping others discover this strength!
