Comedy Central Live: Nathan Caton and guests
Off the Kerb Productions in association with Comedy Central presents Comedy Central Live, and we're starting 2017 with a huge and hilarious line up in Nathan Caton, Lauren Pattison, and Felicity Ward!
Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News, BBC R4’s Can’t Tell Nathan Caton Nothing…
Nathan Caton is one of the most exciting young comedians on the scene. Gigging since the tender age of 19, over the last decade he has established himself both as a circuit headliner, and a name on TV and radio.
Within his first few years on stage, he had picked up various accolades and coveted plaudits including the Chortle Student Comic of the Year award and Broadcast Hotshot and written and starred in a pilot for Paramount Comedy (now Comedy Central) entitled The Nathan Caton Show.
Since then Caton has gone from strength to strength, wowing audiences at comedy clubs up and down the UK, and on his numerous TV and radio appearances, with his delightfully charming blend of personal and political comedy.
Lauren is a talented stand-up and actress who graduated from Northumbria University with a First Class Degree in Drama.
Lauren's been doing stand-up for 4 years and is one of the brightest young talents on the comedy scene. She came runner up at the Funny Women Awards 2014 and this year was the only female comedian to reach the final of the Chortle Student Comedy Awards. Earlier this year she supported Katherine Ryan on several tour dates and opened for Stewart Francis. She also played Latitude and Leeds festivals and took her 45mins solo work in progress show REET PETITE to Edinburgh.
This summer Lauren got to the final of the BBC New Comedy Awards and performed live on BBC Radio 4, the set was filmed and can be seen here.
A regular on the national stand up circuit, this baby faced comic is one to watch out for.
Felicity Ward is a multi-award winning, Australian stand-up comedian, comic performer, writer and actor.
At the 2008 Melbourne Fringe, Felicity Ward debuted her full-length stand-up comedy show, Felicity Ward’s Ugly As A Child Variety Show. The autobiographical show went on to become a commercial and critical hit, and was awarded Most Outstanding Newcomer and then nominated for the same award at the following Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Ward was then invited to take UAAC Variety Show to the Edinburgh Fringe, where she won the ‘Spirit of the Fringe Award’
In 2013 Felicity relocated to London and has been performing regularly on the UK club circuit and at festivals across the country. She has just completed successful seasons of her latest show, The Iceberg at the Melbourne, Sydney and Perth Comedy Festivals. She performed at the Jive Comedy Festival Cape Town in June and was been invited to perform at Montreal’s Juste Pour Rire Comedy Festival (Just For Laughs) in July. She played the highly prestigious Comedy Stage at Latitude Music Festival and then took The Iceberg to Edinburgh Fringe in August.
