A half day workshop to:

  • look at the facts of climate change
  • refresh ourselves on the theology
  • discuss what it means to declare a climate emergency as ‘the church’ and the implications for our ministry
  • explore how individual churches can engage in environmental action. There will be a chance for discussion and questions.

The day is open to all clergy, curates and LLMs. It aims to equip you in leading and ministering to your church in this new context of having declared a climate emergency.

Active and public forms of transport to the event is encouraged. Parking is limited at the church. Information on getting there is available here: http://www.stmaryredcliffe.co.uk/your-visit.html

If you have any questions or suggestions about the day, please contact Environmental Adviser Clare Fussell on Clare.Fussell@bristoldiocese.org
