“Feisty banjo and fiddle, and assured female vocal... you cannot argue that Cera Impala & The New Prohibition
create a distinctive sound” - FRoots Magazine

A banjo-wielding mama who oozes wild style, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Cera Impala’s barnstorming trio,The New Prohibition, possess an innate ability to create songs that feel instantly familiar. Indeed, whether it’s hillbilly noir, or gritty 1920s/ 1930s jazz, the snazzy outfit have one foot firmly planted in the past and the other in the future of folk, jazz and Americana.

Born in Flagstaff, Arizona, Impala is a firm favourite on BBC Radio Scotland’s Janice Forsyth show and can also be found singing with the Queens of harmony and sass, The Bevvy Sisters. www.ceraimpala.com
