Career Wednesdays: February 14th 2018
Prepare for employment and next steps with support from our Career Guidance & Development students!
As a final year student in the School of Media, Culture & Society, you have an outstanding opportunity to benefit from career development support from our experienced MSc Career Guidance & Development students.
A limited number of places are available for this session, during which you will undertake a one-to-one career development interview with an experienced postgraduate careers professional, followed by a group work session on CV development and interview skills.
Please note that the interviews will be filmed to enable us to assess our Careers Guidance & Development students. These films will be stored securely and will not be seen by anyone beyond the lecturing team. However it is a condition of participation that you should be aware of this and agree to be filmed.
These career development sessions are an excellent opportunity for you to discuss your next steps and benefit from the expertise of our Career Guidance & Development students. It is important to remember at the same time that this is a central component of our postgraduate student assessment. As such you will be expected to attend if you sign up for a place, and you should cancel your ticket at the earliest opportunity if you cannot make it. The students will be relying on you to be there.
Please note: this event is only open to final year students in the School of Media, Culture & Society
