Bike Foraging - Springtime
A new kind of wild food adventure for mobile Londoners - foraging by bike! By cycle is the way that I forage - on my own expeditions I either ride straight out or put my bike on the train, and I've had trouble sometimes designing walks that can encompass everything I want to teach in a short distance.
So join me in my element on this most efficient of all modes of transport, to really cover some ground exploring the back paths of the peri urban landscape, taking a wide overview of the wild edibles available at this most luscious time of the year.
You will need a bike, obviously, and be proficient enough at on road cycling to ride safely where we do have to use the road. The route will be on back paths as much as possible but there will be times when we'll have to share with cars. The ride will start and end at stations where we can catch a rides in and out of the city.
