This course is aimed at anyone that works with or comes into contact with adults.

Learning Outcomes:

It is not always the case that adults are able to protect and care for themselves. Some adults are particularly vulnerable to harm. All citizens, organisations and agencies have a responsibility to participate in adult protection.

This course aims to help you understand what is the harm or abuse of vulnerable adults. It will also show you how to recognise harm and most importantly, what to do if you suspect an adult needs support and protection.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Recognise harm

Know that you must report harm that is suspected, witnessed or reported, to your line manager

What action to take to protect adults who are at risk from harm
